This collaboration falls within ROVI\u2019s LAISOLID project, which focuses on the development of new aseptic filling technologies and novel methodologies to accelerate drug development based on predictive models. The project is funded by the CDTI under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan associated with the IPCEI Med4Cure program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this collaboration, both companies reaffirm their commitment to promoting more sustainable pharmaceutical manufacturing processes while supporting innovation in medicines based on next-generation sustained-release platforms and solid filling technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The development of LAI formulations represents a promising strategy to improve treatment adherence and therapeutic outcomes. It allows a reduction in the frequency of drug administration and, consequently, reduces the treatment burden for patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These formulations enable to modify the pharmacokinetic profile of drugs, ensuring more stable therapeutic concentrations over extended periods. In this context, LAI formulations are positioned as a key tool for advancing towards more effective, sustainable, and patient-centered treatments. They also facilitate better treatment control by healthcare professionals and open up new opportunities for personalizing therapies by tailoring drug release to the specific needs of each patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About IPCEI Med4Cure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IPCEI Med4Cure is the first European project in the healthcare sector aimed at promoting research, innovation, and the initial industrial deployment of medical products, as well as innovative manufacturing processes in the pharmaceutical industry. Its objectives include addressing diseases for which there are no satisfactory means of prevention or treatment and enabling the European Union to better prepare for emerging health threats.
