Strengthening commitment to human capital
ROVI strives daily to strengthen its commitment to human capital, whereby the care, development and performance of its employees are set out as an essential pillar of its business strategy. The Company promotes the personal and professional growth of its employees with a dual purpose: firstly, to ensure their well-being and, secondly, to meet individual and collective expectations through the pursuit of maximum potential, the best aptitudes and capabilities.
To this end, ROVI develops programmes, measures and actions that make talent management a cornerstone of day-to-day business performance.
Promoting the attraction and retention of talent
ROVI designs and manages talent attraction and retention policies by integrating the following principles:
- Equal opportunities
- Objectivity and impartiality in selection processes
- Inclusion in the recruitment of young people, individuals from excluded groups and people with different abilities
- Prioritisation of internal candidates
- Confidentiality in the process
As a result of the high volume of recruitment in recent years, ROVI has developed employee management from two perspectives:
- New opportunities for growth, diversification and interaction, working on the flexibilisation process for talent attraction based on increased digitalisation.
- The role of the manager, which has gained particular relevance and has been subject to specific development plans, providing the necessary tools for improved team management.
As evidence of its commitment to the attraction and retention of talent, ROVI collaborates with Universities and Vocational Training Centres so that final-year undergraduate students, Master’s or PhD students and vocational training students can undertake internships in different areas of the Group.
Ensuring Health and Safety
ROVI’s main commitment is to minimise occupational risks at its facilities and promote healthy behaviours in the workplace in order to safeguard the Health and Safety of its workforce. To this end, the Company has various mechanisms such as the Occupational Health and Safety Policy, ISO 45001:2015 Certification across all its industrial plants, preventive activities and procedures, and training plans.
Promoting equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion
ROVI supports a corporate culture based on equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion in all the countries in which it operates.
In line with its strong commitment to real equality of treatment and opportunities, ROVI promotes non-discrimination on the grounds of gender, race, social origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, ideology, political opinions, religion or any personal condition in any activity carried out by the Company.
- Equality Plan(2022-2026), which establishes a series of measures aimed to continue to improve application of the principle of equality between men and women at ROVI.
- Protocol for the Prevention and Handling of Cases of Moral and Sexual Harassment.
- Code of Ethics, in which respect for equality and non-discrimination materialises.
- Ethics Channel, a mechanism implemented to manage and process the reports and notifications received.
