Energy consumption is one of the necessary links in performing ROVI’s activity. The acquisition of energy-efficient products and services, the design and enhancement of the energy performance and an energy management system based on a cycle of continuous improvement form part of ROVI’s normal practices.
ROVI works constantly to improve its plants’ energy performance, including energy efficiency and the use and consumption of energy. Specifically, at the Granada plant, ROVI has developed an Energy Management System, which has been certified under the standard ISO 50001 since 2021. Through this System, the Company has been able to meet its objectives, energy targets and action plans related to energy efficiency. To this end, a series of energy saving measures have been implemented, such as monitoring energy consumption, new equipment installations and replacements, leak tests and the adjustment of comfort temperatures in accordance with Royal Decree 14/2022 in common areas and office.
These measures not only help the plant’s energy performance and the organisation’s competitivity, but also contribute to improving the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental impacts.
Additionally, the Granada plant has an Energy Policy, which sets out the Company’s genuine and effective commitment to the proper use and consumption of energy.
